Brooke and I headed back up to the Mammoth area to take pictures of the Fall colors after she got back from Washington. We drove up Sunday morning and spent the day taking pictures in several different locations. That night we met up with Cam in Mammoth, and the three of us headed out for more photography on Monday.

This shot was just past Intake #2 while heading up towards Lake Sabrina.

This shot was in the same area as the previous one.

Some colorful leaves next to Lake Sabrina.

This was in Lee Vining Canyon down a path mixed with pine trees and aspen. All the pine trees were covered in aspen leaves.

We headed out of Lee Vining Canyon just in time to catch sunset over Mono Lake.

Monday morning Cam and I headed up to Minaret Vista for sunrise. This is looking East towards the White Mountains.

The previous weekend I tried the same spot hoping for some nice color on the Minarets. This time the light cooperated a little better.
This is 5 shots stitched together to make a panoramic of the Minarets, Mount Ritter, and Banner Peak.

A few minutes later, the red light started hitting the peaks.

After leaving Mammoth, the three of us headed up to Twin Lakes just outside of Bridgeport.

Looking across the lake at some small cabins in the aspens.

Another view along the shore of the lake with more reflection.

Colorful leaves on the ground along Upper Summers Meadow Road.

Most of the aspens in the Eastern Sierra only turn yellow, so it was nice to see some red for a change.

A close up of some of the yellow leaves turning red.

A single red leaf.

Some aspen trunks in Lundy Canyon.

Another one from Lundy Canyon.
